Of course it does make trouble. But that is an RMODE point, not an AMODE since this is not executable. If this were AMODE 64 RMODE 31 or AMODE 31 RMODE 31 there would be no trouble. Whoever uses your DC AD, if the code were actually above the bar, would of course have to be AMODE 64 to access the located area.
