Bob, that takes me back...

I don't think these are at all likely to have high rates. Certainly I've
never seen it.

And I think I recall Walt some time in the late 1980's saying these VLF
classes were set up for reasons other than wholesale Data In Memory (DIM).
Walt, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure Bob, you know that the statistics have to be carefully examined
in the light of what you know about each and every class' specific
behaviours: e.g. Expecting CSVLLA to be close to 100% hits.

Cheers, Martin

I'm presenting a session at SHARE on VLF and am looking for some VLF data
for some of the more obscure (at least to me) VLF classes such as IRRGMAP
(RACF GIDs), IRRUMAP (RACF UIDs). IRRSMAP (RACF User Security Packets
(USPs) and IRRSPS0 (RACF Program Signature Verification). We see very
little activity for these classes so I'd like to review the SMF records
from shops that have high activity.

I'd also like to see activity for any non-IBM use of VLF.

Please contact me offline if you're willing to donate a day's worth of SMF
Type 41 Subtype 3 records. Thanks.
