Do you have access to resource link and the hardware manuals for your mainframe(s)? I haven't looked though all of them, but I would think something should be in either the PR/SM manual, the HMC manuals or the SE manuals. Another place is the Technical Guide Redbook for your hardware model. For example, in the zEC12 Technical Guide chapter 12 (HMC & SE) contains information.
