Spurred on by my upcoming Share session I've spent some time writing about "Technology Update Pricing for AWLC". It was announced last August but there has been little discussion of the software pricing related to zEC12s on IBM-MAIN. As we seem to discuss on IBM-MAIN with each pricing change I would not expect any site to install a zEC12 for the "software" savings, but it is a component of ROI and/or TCO.
