I believe case can be relevant if it's part of a logo or wordmark. For
instance, the abandoned RIM "Budgie" trademark has a drawing of a
budgie associated with it, and they disclaim use of the word budgie
alone.

And I just noticed that RIM has a product called Blackberry MVS.
Unfortunately it's Mobile Voice System.
