Same goes for COBOL, PL/1 and even C.

My Managers tell me, that everything has to be converted to Java,
because - for example - PL/1 people are far too expensive.
They don't count, that the new applications written in Java have a
inferior quality compared with the existing PL/1-ASS-C application
and they don't meet our business needs (response time, scalability etc.).
Anyway, they continue to go this path, very aggressively. The costs for
the migration explode, but that doesn't matter, because management
is not able to see (and to admit) that the migration path leads nowhere.
