Long ago, I rarely encountered errors in IBM code. More recently, in attempts to distill my code down to the minimum that exposes a defect, I often encounter an untested boundary condition, and yet another defect. At critical mass, this process can be expected not to terminate.
And I have known IBM support to reply to my minimal test case similarly to, "Why do you need this program to work? It appears to do nothing useful." -- gil ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
