DOWN works without problems.

If the penultimate line of the logical screen has an underlined sequence
number, indicating that it's followed by hidden excluded lines, and the
cursor is on the very last line of the logical screen, and the cursor is
put on this last line, scrolling UP via PF7 (defined as UP) does not work.

Putting the UP command on the command line, and the cursor back on the
same last line of the logical screen has the same effect, the screen stays
put!

Do I have to video it and put it on YouTube?

Just trying to understand the behavior, see if there are any other
anomalies that might provide clues. You're
thorough explanation has been quite useful.

"Underlined sequence number, indicating that it's followed by hidden excluded
lines" - does this appear anywhere you have hidden excluded lines, or just
at the bottom?

1) I'm running Vista tn3270 in a 62x160 mode
2) the Action Bar is on in View
3) I'm not using the Swapbar
4) In View, when scrolled completely to the top, there are 56 lines between the

**************************** Bottom of Data ****************************

lines

5) I create a member with 90 lines, tree lines containing A, B and !, repeated 30 times
6) I do a "X ! all" + "hide x"
7) I scroll down to position sequence number 88 on the screen just below
"Command ===>, i.e.

8) I put the cursor anywhere on the line with sequence number 88
9) I scroll up once, this puts the line with sequence number 88 on the bottom of the screen. The visible line just above it has an underlined sequence number 86. 10) I scroll up again, leaving the cursor on the line with sequence number 88, and nothing happens, no scrolling, zilch!

And finally, at my last employer we used Attachmate, and there the problem also manifested itself.
