I had to rebuild my 2.1 RESCUE system so I can IPL on the new Z15 we are installing. I rebuild this pack from a 2.3 system, IIRC I had recursive abends on my first 2.3 IPL years ago with IEFU86, I updated my parms added IEFU86 to the EXIT statement in SMFPRM00, I tried different options, I for the life of me cannot remember how I got past this, the big issue is after the system is up for some time it crashes and I get a WLM catastrophic error wait sate 08C reason 018, but this reason code is not documented, IBM can you tell me what the reason code means?
