I have given an "internals of the TLS protocol/how certificates work" intro
class a couple of times at SHARE and for NewEra Software's "Z Exchange." I
have been asked to give it again.

If anyone wanted to look over my slides at
https://www.newera.com/INFO/Certificates_10272020.pdf and give me feedback
on errors and omissions I would be most grateful. There is no catch here: no
registration and there is no product to sell you. The class is "pure
protocol" - I'm not sure the term RACF appears in the presentation. And it
is a one hour intro - there is obviously a lot I do not cover. It is a
little clearer when I actually present - there is verbal explanation and
animation - but I think if there is any significant error or
over-simplification it should be there in the slides.

Feedback to charlesm at mcn dot org - no need to clutter the lists.

X-Posted to IBM-MAIN and RACF-L.

Thanks!

Charles
