What specific level of 5876 are you running?
I have been working with EMC on this issue for the last couple of weeks. We just upgraded from 5875 to 5876. Prior to the upgrade I had on a daily basis about 100 OBR Long records. After the upgrade I am now seeing 30,000+ records on a daily basis. I am just curious if anyone else that either recently went to this level of Enginuity code or is at this level of 5876, if you have seen a dramatic increase in Logrec data; specifically OBR long records. The information I have is these records are over run events with no action required. However, I am concerned at the huge increase. Second concern is it seems to be against 5 specific catalog volumes rather than all volumes. We are running MFE at 7.3 and z/OS V1.12 Thanks for any comments.
