A type 1 or type 6 SVC can issue SUSPEND, but noting that, in doing so, this is basically ending the SVC's processing. RESUME will occur within the user code (enabled and unlocked). A type 1 SVC must not release the local lock; a type 6 SVC must not enable. A type 1 or type 6 SVC cannot suspend the SVC routine itself and have the SVC routine continue upon RESUME.
