Does anyone run colony address spaces for OMVS file systems?
I am running one as follows (from BPXPRM00),
FILESYSTYPE TYPE(ZFS) ENTRYPOINT(IOEFSCM)
ASNAME(ZFS,'SUB=MSTR')
PARM('PRM=(00)')
This starts an address space called ZFS. I have used the RACF started class
to assign RACF user ZFSAS to the address space. I assumed that this address
space would need some special authority. While I have stablished it works
with ZFSAS having UID(0) and without AND with TRUSTED and without, I have
not found any definition of what might be needed. It appeasr nothing is
required.
Anyone come across any advice on this?
