Yeah, I am over my depth talking about specific consoles. The main point is that CP67/VM provides a virtual machine with regard to instructions, not hardware. You can run pretty much run any program in a guest, but you cannot hook real hardware up to it. It would be relatively useless for training a hardware repairman (CE) other than perhaps basic training on some software tools.
IOW the guest appears to be a real machine to a program running in it. It does not appear to be a real machine in the physical world.
