The 037 code page square brackets are not ASCII compatible brackets. That is part of the reason for 1047. Regards. Lloyd

I just edited a ISO8859-1 tagged file using 037 and inserted square brackets []. When I edited the file using Vim the square brackets had not been translated correctly. I am almost 100% sure that ISPF only supports conversion from 1047.
