Mr. Schrager,
You wouldn't happen to have kept a copy of ACF2 from back in the MVS/370
days would you? Thank you for a great product!
With respect,

Sam,
Thank you for keeping this going.
A little history, the CBT Tape (Connecticut Bank and Trust) was originated by
Arnold Casinghino of CBT as part of the SHARE MVS Group's push to exchange
software that we were all writing. People would submit updates to Arnold and
he would incorporate them into the tape and then people would send him blank
tapes and he would fill them and send them back. We owe a lot to Arnie for his
work on this.
I'm trying to remember the dates -- but, I was asked to form the MVS Group in,
I think, 1976 and left SHARE in 1978 when I started SKK and developed ACF2, so
this would have had to take place in 1976 or 1977. At that point in time,
SHARE did not allow any vendors other than IBM, so I could not continue to
participate in that great mainframe organization.
Anyway, thanks to Sam and Arnie for providing this valuable service.

Hi Folks,
A new version of the CBT Tape, Version 486, has been cut. The
www.cbttape.org website has been updated to reflect this (hopefully in
all the right places). Thank you for your continued support.
All the best of everything to all of you.
Sincerely, Sam
