There is always a line of tourists -- many of them American -- at the McDonalds on the Champs-Élysées.
I am told even the most dedicated fans of French cuisine can get a hankering for a hamburger after a couple of weeks of withdrawal. Burger King has been in France since at least the 80's. I remember seeing them there in 1989.
