Many thanks for sharing everyone's thoughts on this matter. I think that there are a lot of applications that could benefit from having access to the capabilities of a GPU or two (or ten....:-), maybe not as a replacement or competitor for large Intel-based supercomputers, of course. Applications like data mining and ML have numerical requirement too, I believe.
