- 1.) would it be too much to add in the root directory (or whereever
suitable) a file that explains the one char abreviations:
A=AIX
C=CICS
D=DB2
M=MVS
Q=MQ
R=RACF
S=SNA
V=VSE
VM=VM
Althru obvious it would safe time access the realy excellent collection.
- 2.) I saw that there is an index to all of the MVS issues. Are there
index-files for the other issues (i.e. VSE and VM and CICS)
- 3.) When I used the index, I found that the index-entries have the
issue number whereas the PDFs have names with year and month. I could
create a REXX (portable to other platforms) that creates a rename-file
to convert current names names with the issue number in them. Would that
help you?
- 4.) When looking for the solution to fix item 3.) I found a way to
also create indexes for the other files)item 2.) . Would that help you?
PS:
The tools I will use, if you give me a go, are PDFTK and PDFTOTEXT on
linux mint (and of course REXX)
