The MVT I/O Supervisor PLM on bitsavers ( http://bitsavers.org/pdf/ibm/360/os/R21.7_Apr73/plm/GY28-6616-9_OS_IO_Superv_PLM_R21.7_Apr73.pdf is one) makes it clear that multiple exposures for the 2305 have multiple UCBs. It takes some careful reading to be sure of that, but there are 16 hits on "exposure" in the book, most of which are relevant. Then there's the source code... If that is the primary source, then perhaps the PLM is secondary? I guess those delete-heads on WP wouldn't fall for that.
