My comment on this is that no company who is serious about security allows any
old PC (Windows or Linux) to connect into their mainframe system. You issue
company laptops tightly controlled by the internal IT team and provide normal
TN3270 software on those laptops for mainframe access over the encrypted
company VPN network only.

Yes, the "extra" laptops inventoried for consultants hired for short-term work
and the encrypted VPN network are an additional capital expense, but what's the
cost of the risk of a data breach? If I'm a CIO I'll gladly pay the capital
expense, and I'll bet the corporate board members would agree (not to mention
the @#$%^&* auditors).

Hi all,
Print screens can still be done but,as it has been said, those are images,
not text.
From what you all have said, it seems that this is the way things are going
to be.
Thank you all for your time and input.
Best wishes
Jack
