Is the "File descriptor" such as open() would create?
Ca the program do POSIX I/O on it?
Are descriptors created by DESERV inherited through fork()?
If the parent issues STOW DISC do those descriptors remain
open in the child?
But no mention of the timestamps the OP desired. Perhaps in
the mysterious FAMS info.
