Unless the bean-counters in the organization consider ALL z/OS DASD “expensive” regardless of “relative” cost and insist on “cheap” VTS HSM migrate for “unused” datasets. Production issue resolution time can go through the roof when very, very large datasets have to be recalled to diagnose the issue.
