The problem is that the installer software is 16-bit. XMIT Manager itself is
32-bit and runs without a problem on 64-bit systems. You just cannot use the
installer to put it on your new machine, you have to do it manually from an
existing installation on an XP or lower-level system.

Copy the folder on your old machine which contains the XMIT manager software
(probably under "C:\Program Files") to a USB stick and write it in a new folder
on your 64-bit system in the "C:\Program Files (x86)" folder.

Then if you want you can create a shortcut to the EXE file and cut-n-paste the
shortcut to your desktop.

Finally, add ".XMI" and ".XMIT" extensions to the folder view options and point
to the XMIT Manager executable as the one to handle such files. Now you can
just double-click on an XMIT file and it will open.
