Joseph, Are you 100% sure that SDWAPRIM is not actually the same as the current PASN ?
This might explain R15=0 and the ALET being zero (although I must admit I have never tried ALESERV ADD for the STOKEN of my own PASN before). I still believe you need to revisit your design. Trying to be “too clever” in general purpose recovery routines is not a good idea in my opinion.
