Tom It is not difficult to imagine code from 2005 using user-key common storage as that was not as well known as a security/integrity problem to the wide world as it is now.

IIRC, RUCSA was introduced with z/OS 2.4, in 2020. It is difficult to imagine a presentation in 2005 or 2012 that would have talked about it. -- Tom Marchant On Sat, 25 May 2024 13:18:55 -0500, Stefan Lezzi <[email protected]> wrote: >Hi again, > >I've got a 2005 SHARE Anaheim version, thank you John!, and I'd love to >have the SHARE Atlanta 2012 version also. >Only there is the code modified to circumvent the RUCSA problem (solved with >"...the authorized TSO command processor RXCUAUTH via TSOEXEC to update these >structures"). > >Sadly, I'm not an enough skilled assembler programmer to code this part myself. > >If you can check your old project/files for this RXC zip, it would be great! > >Thanks > >Stefan ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN ================================ Rocket Software, Inc. and subsidiaries ■ 77 Fourth Avenue, Waltham MA 02451 ■ Main Office Toll Free Number: +1 855.577.4323 Contact Customer Support: https://my.rocketsoftware.com/RocketCommunity/RCEmailSupport Unsubscribe from Marketing Messages/Manage Your Subscription Preferences - http://www.rocketsoftware.com/manage-your-email-preferences Privacy Policy - http://www.rocketsoftware.com/company/legal/privacy-policy ================================ This communication and any attachments may contain confidential information of Rocket Software, Inc.
