Yes, you will need to compile Hercules on LinuxONE. There are no prebuilt binaries for it, mainly because LinuxONE isn't among the systems that our folks have access to. You'll need to use Linux running on the LinuxONE system to do the download and build.
The good news is that Bill Lewis's outstanding hercules-helper utility will automate the build for you. It should just work, but if not, he'll be happy to work with you to get it going.
