This has turned into a long thread and I'll be forever catching up, so rather than wait to see whether someone else makes the same retort I'll just jump in: The only reason I've never written objects into TSO-REXX is that the capability doesn't exist. Now, maybe I tend to write longer and more complex apps in REXX than most people, but once I caught on to OO programming I became an enthusiast.
