I have a similar problem with Nessus port scans where it opens a connection to
MQ and leaves it open creating numerous messages and fills up the logs and am
still working on a solution. I also had a problem with this, and another port
scanning product on Linux systems running zPDT where they would attempt to
connect to the system using SSH and FTP but on ports which are used by zPDT
causing the product, and the emulated z systems to crash on a regular basis. I
was unable to get the security team to remove all the IP addresses for Linux
and MQ so just stuck in an iptables rule to block the Nessus IP addresses! I
suspect that you might be able to do something on z/OS but using IDS, haven't
really looked at it in depth though.

Sebastian.
