Everyone, Thanks for all the responses / feedback. I'm playing around with some of these nomenclatures (/_'HLQ.', etc) to mixed success. If it helps we do run the Tectia for ZOS server on our LPAR's - but don't really see there guides giving much assistance on how to use it when accessing with DOS Command prompt, WinSCP, or Filezilla. I tried it today with native Windows 10 SFTP client and found it sorely lacking in much capabilities but it did seem to take the /_'HLQ.' directory when using it in my CD command. The unfortunate thing is Windows 10 native SFTP client does not allow for Ascii or Bin settings so that is why I think I'm hoping to get better results with one of two open source FTP clients.
It really would help if the FTP client developers would at least mention a bit of this in there doc somewhere but so far really hard to pin down.
