I've been gifted a MP3000 model H30 with six 18 GB drives on top of the 9 GB OS/2 drives. The machine appears to run, but I'm having trouble with the disk array: it shows no configured volumes in the logical storage system and the options to add more are greyed out. The disk box contents display shows one drive of the 6 as being bad.
I'd like to resurrect the array before wiping it, but if I have to delete the contents, so be it. I can't even seem to do that, though. Looking for someone who understands these machines to get with me and figure things out. This is probably going to get too deep in the weeds for IBM-main, with an obsolete system, so contact me direct, please.
