I would agree there is very little in the way of documentation around the
contents of the WS file. I've used PCOMM for many years. What little
documentation there is seems to be only related to when there are issues. One
example that comes to mind is the use of the TerminalTypeString parameter.
Another example is the IgnoreWCCStartPrint parameter and as far as I remember
that is not even documented in a PCOMM manual.

Good luck getting an answer.

Let me clarify: I didn't ask about UUID nor I asked to expand the shortcut.
I asked about the meaning of UID as a parameter in WS file.

Unfortunately syntax (parameters) of WS file is not documented.
