Yes, if you created the policy in z/OSMF you can continue to carry it forward.  
In z/OSMF 2.4 and older if you created or updated your policy files outside of 
z/OSMF you could import the files in to z/OSMF and start maintaining the 
policies in z/OSMF.  z/OSMF 2.4 was the last release that allowed you to import 
policies files from outside of z/OSMF.
