In a z/OS Unix shell session, I find this:

$ man xlc
  xlc - Compiler invocation using a customizable configuration file

  For the xlc information, see z/OS UNIX System Services Command Reference.

In the z/OS V2.5 PDF of the z/OS Unix System Services Command Reference
(SA23-2280-50), pages 853 and 854, I see this:

xlc - Compiler invocation using a customizable configuration file
For the xlc information, see z/OS UNIX System Services Command Reference.
Chapter 2. Shell command descriptions 853
xlC - Compile C and C++ source code, link-edit and create an
executable file
See xlc.
When working in the shell, to view man page information about xlC, type man xlc.
xlc++ - Compile C and C++ source code, link-edit and create an
executable file
See xlc.
When working in the shell, to view man page information about xlc++, type man

Does anyone know where "xlc" is actually documented? Please advise me of the
correct Fine Manual, thank you.

Peter
