I lose decades: "Back in 2008...wait, I mean 1998..." "Senility, not just a river in Africa." -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Bob Bridges Sent: Friday, December 6, 2024 10:19 AM To: [email protected] Subject: "Recently" is relative
I'm chuckling over "recently (a few decades)". I, too, am at the age where I say "recently" and mean something like that. My grandchildren won't understand that for quite a while yet. I suppose it will go on forever. When I'm 10 000 years old, I'll think "recently" is any time in the previous millennium. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
