If you have any problems relating to SYS1.BRODCAST, or the BROADCAST
dataset in general, you are welcome to run them by me, since I wrote two
packages of programs to deal with SYS1.BRODCAST problems, maintenance,
and related matters.
IBM's help in these matters is probably effective, but I think that
my tools will be more streamlined and straightforward in dealing with
situations. Try CBT Tape File 247 for starters.
I just received a call for help where SYS1.BRODCAST didn't have
enough slots for Userids (it is a RECFM=DA dataset) and I made short
work of the situation with one of my tools.
So please get hold of me if you have any problems related to the
SYS1.BRODCAST dataset. Thanks.
