several arguments to BPXWUNIX are REXX strings and most safely
quoted. For example,
not call bpxwunix 'ls -l',,out.
but call bpxwunix 'ls -l',, 'out.'
If not quoted they may caus problems after either
SIGNAL ON NOVALUE
out. = 'preset'
