It is all a matter of perspective. If you would have come to ISPF after five or six years of XEDIT, you would be arguing exactly the opposite. It took me a while to adjust to ISPF. In fact, ISPF was so alien to me that for a long time I would work from CMS, retrieving the files I needed from MVS and putting them back after modifying them using XEDIT. I only got used to working with ISPF when the company I worked for at the time stopped using VM. Regards Jack
