Hello, Just cross posted, I am reaching out to seek your expertise regarding an issue we are experiencing with CL Supersession. We are currently running version CL SS 1.4.7, which is no longer supported. Our users have encountered problems signing into TSO sessions, while other sessions remain unaffected. Upon reviewing the logs, I found the following sense code indicating that a session already exists, but no other significant information was available:
IKT030I TCAS LOGON PROCESS FAILURE PLU=TSOA009 SLU=HBCNET1.TSOA009 SENSE= 080A0000 17:32:01.95 KLVVT021 PHYSICAL ERROR: KLSA0309,TSOA,,SNX32702,0,REQSESS,DATA,REQUEST FAILED,0805000B 17:32:01.95 KLVVT251 SESSION SETUP ERROR: POOL(VIRTPASS) APPLID(KLSA0309) PLU(TSOA) REQSTAT(0805000B) The error messages indicate a VTAM physical error and a session setup error. Here are the details: - *PHYSICAL ERROR*: A VTAM physical error was detected. If the error was a VTAM storage shortage, the request is retried until it succeeds or fails for a different reason. Refer to the data fields in the message to determine the problem. - *CSM Storage Buffer Size*: -D NET,CSM IVT5508I DISPLAY ACCEPTED IVT5529I PROCESSING DISPLAY CSM COMMAND - OWNERID NOT SPECIFIED IVT5530I BUFFER BUFFER IVT5531I SIZE SOURCE INUSE FREE TOTAL IVT5532I ------------------------------------------------------ IVT5533I 4K ECSA 492K 84K 576K IVT5533I 16K ECSA 64K 192K 256K IVT5533I 32K ECSA 64K 448K 512K IVT5533I 60K ECSA 60K 180K 240K IVT5533I 180K ECSA 360K 1080K 1440K IVT5535I TOTAL ECSA 1040K 1984K 3024K The problem is intermittent, and sometimes the sessions work without issues. I have checked the CSM storage buffer size, and it appears to be fine. Additionally, I have reviewed the ECSA, and it seems that LUs were not released. Are there any parameters that control the release of unused LUs? I also checked our maintenance level, and we are significantly behind. Could you please provide any suggestions or insights on how to resolve this issue? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
