Hello, I am trying to understand the various backup options for mainframe data. So far in my experience I have been using ADRDDSU or FDR to backup z/OS volumes writing to virtual tapes of IBM or DELL.
Apart from the above method, Are there any options to trigger or manage a mainframe backup using a GUI(Graphical User Interface). What are the different backup practices of the mainframe is followed ? Please do share with me your experience as it would help me to explore some best practices and efficient ways of backing up the mainframe data.
