It seems like your ACS routine is restricting the new vsam file to non-sms, but 
one or more of your parms in the create tablespace ddl is providing extended 
format info, e.g. size

Are you able to paste the entire create TS ddl in the chat?

I check the FILTLIST for my stuff first, and ACS test confirm that it works.

Doing an ISPF 3.2 allocation drives it.

Should I be able to see the WRITEs under DB2? How can I see their DEFINE 
CLUSTER command?
