There is a fairly detailed description of the search order in several different
manuals. SYS1.LPALIB is not relevant. The content supervision search the LPA,
not the libraries previously used to load it.

Subject: Library search order

External Message: Use Caution

Hi

From what I understand without a task/step/job lib the system searches
sys1.lpalib first  looking at my ZPDT system LPALSTXX member I see two
libraries USER.&SYSVER. and FEU.&SYSVER

Ahead of SYS1.LPALIB if I  put a module USER.&SYSVER and / or FEU.&SYSVER
would it look for it there first before looking in SYS1.LPALIB

thanks
