Do you mean like ANSI Rexx charout(stream-name, 'Hello, world')? (omit stream_name for stdout). It's already been done, and done well. I have structures, pointers and handles for when I need grown-up long trousered behaviour. But for quick jobs, I just want short and simple (because I'm a lousy typist). Almost everything can be abbreviated. INT, DEC(imal), STR(ing), SAY, FUN(ction), SUB(str), FORM(at). It's for fun. Anyway, I'll be finished before it is!
