I'm only asking you to be on topic and not dismiss my knowledge and experience
as "nonsense". This is a discussion about porting OOREXX without losing
functionality and why IBM will not be porting it because everything the
original developers need is already available in TSO.

One of the complaints about REXX is that calling a REXX exec creates a unique
instance of the exec. From OOREXX, you can make calls to ISPEXEC the underlying
logic using ISPEXEC calls but will lose access to the OOREXX objects and
variables. What value does OOREXX provide when it is more suitable as a batch
job instead of TSO scripting language?
