You reminded me of when I worked on the 3rd floor of an office building
in Long Beach CA, overlooking the open parking lot right next to an old
apartment building. Someone called me, "Hey Tom, you need to move your
car right away!" It was parked near the apartment building and the
alleged wife was yelling and throwing all her husband's stuff out the
second floor window into the parking lot. Chairs, desk drawers, and
even a large TV set.
The office was the Edison Building which happened to get a cameo near
the end of "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World"

I heard that building held the company's first computers, Burroughs,
later switched to IBM.

Then there was the time the cops found a body on the roof of the parking garage: we're watching the news one night, and the hed is "BODY FOUND IN SOUTH ARLINGTON".
