I'm running on a ZVDT instance with z/OS 3.1 and I'm attempting to add a few xterm entries to augment the default set. I've set TERMINFO=/u/myuser/.terminfo and the directory is writable. I've added the .ti files and tic executes with an rc 0 but does not generate the appropriate file.
I then thought, let me use the terminfo.src from /samples and compile that since its supplied with the OS and it also executes with an rc=0 (there are informational messages generated but they are not critical). At the end, there are no term info files created.
