Infoprint Server writes logs from the Unix daemons into a common message log. To see those messages formatted into a readable format use the aoplogu command. The documentation is all available here: Infoprint Server and Transforms, PSF for z/OS - APS - IBM Documentation <https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/3.1.0?topic=infoprint-server-transforms-psf-zos-aps> Search for aoplogu and the first hit describes the command. aoplogu command - IBM Documentation <https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/3.1.0?topic=log-aoplogu-command>
If you are using other components of Infoprint Server like the old Basic Mode of Printway, or Netspool they have separate started tasks and message logs are written to datasets in the JCL procedures for those allocated to ANFMMSG DD or APIMMSG respectively. The IBM Print Transforms that are used with Infoprint Server write their messages to stderr files in the /var/Printsrv/xfd directory.
