I was under the impression that when a IBM service blew up its up RB or SVRB is put in SDWARBAD looking for the user program that called it you would need to chain up or backward from the RB chain to get the user program / PRB but in this case that didn’t happen the user regs a program that was loaded by the main program which had established the recovery via the ESTAE
That loaded program had its PSW regs at SDWAEC2 and SDWASRSV respectively Thanks > On Dec 10, 2025, at 5:46 PM, Jon Perryman <[email protected]> wrote: > > On Wed, 10 Dec 2025 16:19:54 -0500, Joseph Reichman <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> But the rb had an CDE pointing not to the loaded module but the main module > > Are you asking a question or just thinking out loud?
