Another post said that the 308x did not have IMVC. Does anybody remember 
whether 303x did?

I believe that the 168 was the last machine where it wasn't standard. The 
instruction was originally an RPQ on some S/360 models.

It was also an RPQ on some much earlier machines like the 370/168.
