On a hunch, I searched www.mxg.com for TYPEEREP and inferred that MXG can
process SYS1.LOGREC files directly. Presumably the process would build an
MXG/SAS database.
If you already have SAS in your shop, it may be worthwhile to license MXG
for this purpose as well as other useful functionality.
